Where my songs have been heard and published so far

Illustration of a glowing radio and music manuscript, with paper birds carrying ribbons of music across a coastal dusk.

A few of my songs have now found a place on radio and in published writing. I’ve brought the confirmed publicity together here, with links to the original sources, so there’s a clear record of what has appeared so far.

The articles below are pieces I contributed about the songs and the subjects behind them. The radio entries come from the stations’ own logs. Together, they give several different ways into the music.

Five songs with verified publicity: Birth Stories, Dying for a Diagnosis, Moderate or Good, Light Will Win (Shubh Diwali), and Patriotic Revolution.
Published writing, a public resource listing and radio logs, checked on 11 October 2026. The original sources are linked below.

Birth Stories: writing, resources and radio

Birth Stories has the widest set of confirmed public appearances so far. Red Devil Radio’s artist log lists 33 plays of the song as checked on 11 October. Its first play was confirmed on 20 August. That is the station’s logged count; I don’t have an audience figure to attach to it.

The writing and resource links are:

Dying for a Diagnosis: the waiting list in words

Psychreg published my personal essay, What Does a Waiting List Sound Like?, on 26 August, with an update on 28 August. It connects Dying for a Diagnosis with the research and treatment-access questions behind the song.

Moderate or Good: familiar words in another setting

My Sussex Magazine article, Seaford Artist Finds a New Use for Britain’s Most Familiar Sea-Weather Words, appeared on 20 August. It introduces Moderate or Good and the use it makes of the Shipping Forecast’s language.

Light Will Win: a place on The Local Line-up

V2 Radio’s dated playlist lists Light Will Win (Shubh Diwali) at 21:52 on 7 October, during The Local Line-up. That gives the play a specific date and programme in the station’s public record.

Patriotic Revolution: the cadence behind the song

Dopetrackz has published my article From Livestream Cadence to a 140 BPM Artistic Response, about Patriotic Revolution. The page is dated 8 October, updated on 11 October, and credited to me.

Conversations, and what comes next

Alongside those appearances, I’ve collected my public discussions around Dmitri My Talisman in its discussion journal. Those entries are my own contributions to conversations, rather than reviews or radio plays.

Some upcoming songs are also lined up for further radio play. I’m keeping the details for later, and I’ll add the confirmed plays when they happen.

I’ve added these source links to the relevant song pages too. As more publicity is confirmed, those pages will keep a dated record alongside the music.
