The Birth Trauma Association has published my account of what I carried away from the births of my three children.

I am not speaking for the person who gave birth, and I have kept my family and the professionals involved unidentifiable. This is about what I saw, heard, did and remember as a father and birth partner — including why accessible communication matters in an emergency.
