California Screamin’
Warm, cinematic pop/electro with laid-back South Coast UK-rap storytelling—turning a rain-soaked Golden Gate Bridge memory into shared release.
Forthcoming single · 15 January 2027Noise, warm rain and an unfinished crossing
Four friends set off running across the Golden Gate Bridge. The wind, cables and traffic were so loud that open-mouthed screams disappeared into the noise. Halfway across, huge drops of unexpectedly warm rain began to fall.
They turned back towards the minivan soaked and laughing, gesturing towards Alcatraz across the bay. What began as a joke about primal-scream therapy became a small, joyful lesson in letting go.
California Screamin’ puts that memory inside melodic female hooks and a bright electronic-pop centre, with relaxed South Coast UK-rap verses carrying the detail and humour.
Never made the other side.
Still felt like we arrived.

More than California scenery
A true travel-memory transformation: an abandoned plan became the part of the trip that lasted.
Pop and rap as complementary viewpoints: the female melodic sections carry the emotional lift while the rap passages keep the physical detail, British voice and self-deprecating humour.
A visual world already inside the lyric: humming bridge cables, traffic noise, warm rain, wet reflections and Alcatraz create a specific setting without claiming Bay Area identity.
